Churchill's Cat
While some of the conversations and events depicted by "Jock" the cat, the persons (and animals) involved are real and so is Churchill's fondness for animals. Jock was gifted to Winston Churchill for his 88th birthday. This is a story about living with Mr. Churchill told from the cat's perspective. Jock followed the Churchills from their winter residence in London to Chartwell in summer. He met several famous people, was the subject of Churchill's most sincere prayers, and generally had the run of the household. I would recommend this book to anyone who admires Winston Churchill and who knows and loves cats.
