November 9, 1989, marked the Fall of the Berlin Wall. One year later, thanks to Winston Churchill's granddaughter, Edwina Sandys. 8 sections of the Berlin Wall were placed at America's National Churchill Museum on the campus of Westminster College. Former President Ronald Reagan dedicated the sculpture called "Breakthrough." The man- and woman-shaped sections cut out of the wall by Sandys represent breaking through from East Berlin to the freedom of West Berlin.
