The Cookery Book by the Friends of the National Churchill Museum

Lamb, broiled trout, and fruit pudding are all very British and are all included in The Cookery Book. As the English call all cookbooks "cookery books" we find it fitting that as our salute to America's National Churchill Museum and our Anglo-American relations we Present The Cookery Book. The recipes have been served to guests all over the world; many were prepared for the most stimulating guest of his generation, Sir Winston Churchill. The book was coordinated by the members of the St. Louis Friends of America's National Churchill Museum with help from committee members throughout Missouri. Friends from all over the United State and the British Empire have donated 1,500 recipes to The Cookery Book. Every recipe was thoroughly tested by members of our testing committee. Some of these recipes have been necessarily omitted due to lack of space of their similarity to other.
