The Honourable Edwina Sandys was born in 1938. She was the second of Duncan and Diana Sandys' three children and a granddaughter of the statesman Sir Winston Churchill. She is a sculptor and an artist. One of her works, titled Breakthrough, is located at Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, USA. This work features eight sections of the Berlin Wall. Westminster College was the site of Sir Winston Churchill's famous "Iron Curtain" speech in 1946. The college is now the site of the America's National Churchill Museum, housed in the basement of a relocated London church designed and rebuilt by Christopher Wren.

In Romeo Revisited, she depicts an array of bottles and cigar boxes inspired by the Churchill painting Botttlescape. A portrait of Churchill hangs on the wall but he has no cigar in his hand. He looks longingly at the open box of his favorite Romeo y Julietta cigars, wishing he could reach out and grasp one.

Please note that the border on the print is larger than depicted in the photo. This item ships rolled in a mailing tube.

Very disappointed and felt that you misled me. The image that was on the store page showed a signed copy with number by the artist. the copy I received did not have a handwritten artist name and title.
