Churchill OrnamentAdd to Wishlist
Since 2018, America's National Churchill Museum has issued commemorative, limited-edition ornaments. The 2018 ornament, which depicted Christopher Wren's St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the re-dedication of the church on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. The 2019 ornament of Edwina Sandys' Breakthrough commemorated the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
This year we continue the tradition. The 2020 ornament features Franta Belsky's iconic sculpture of Winston Churchill, which stands proudly outside the Museum. The work was unveiled 25 years after Churchill's Iron Curtain Speech in 1971 and is currently undergoing conservation treatment. It will be rededicated on March 5, 2021 part of the Museum's 75th-anniversary commemoration of the “Sinews of Peace” speech.
